OMOWOY-challenge, Irene 2.11.2026 , "once upon a time.."
willow came home.
irene listened to her whole evening.
willow let out all. irene understood her well, she and wolfie were separated whole month at nordhaven, because of misunderstanding and trust.
"too bad you don't have the dogs with you, Em would have loved to see them" irene said and tried to make willow think something else for a second.
"oh aunt carly has not left yet?"
"no, there was bit delays in horse competition things.."
"Oh I will for sure somehow have em meet the girls.. they are adorable! jenna is taking care of them now when im here."
"yes sure, we can visit them in sulani, if needed."
that made willow smile again.
"good night mom, thank you for listening"
"Always, sweety, love you."
next morning irene made a call.
"you still here? could you come over ?"
carly was there in no time.
She asked willow to come walk with her.
willow figured her mom had invited carly cause of her , and was curios.
carly told her a little story.
but suddenly this boy moved away... without ever contacting her and tell her why.
years passed by, the girl lost all hope he would be back again.
when the girl grew up, she got invited in to a masquerade ball , hosted by a king himself. she felt honored and was happily going to the ball, her dress was beautiful and she had lovely green mask.
the king himself asked her for a dance. she recognized him right away.. years change people, but the look in their their eyes, mostly stay the same. it was the same boy she lost all those years ago.. she couldn't take it, and ran crying to garden of the castle.
she felt sad, she felt anger, she felt betrayed. the king followed her , and told her all the reasons from past till now, and starting of that night, they were never part again."
"I think i get the point, aunt carly." willow smiled and continued "that girl ended up doing pretty well, huh?"
"haha, i think i did " carly smiled back.
"thank you" irene whispered.
